Touring the watershed at the Las Cienegas National Conservation Area

The final project activity for the Elgin School students was to tour the important habitat located in the students' back yards. Students learned how to measure water quality and how to identify the area's resident birds. Elgin students were assisted by Empire High School students who conduct regular observations of Las Cienegas.
