Ian Tomlinson of the Vera Earl Ranch gave his perspective as a rancher about the importance of the watershed's healthy function and the importance of healthy grasslands to our unique watershed.
Ian used the stuffed animals as stand-in for grasses to explain why grass is important for erosion control and its role in recharging groundwater.
Ian Tomlinson was recently named to the Cienega Watershed Partnership's Wall of Honor for his work in maintaining and contributing to the watershed's health.
