Digging deeper into story

We all know a good story when we hear one, but crafting our own story is a learned skill indeed! Photographer and educator Josh Schachter shared his expertise in telling stories through photograhy with the Elgin School students. In this session, we viewed a digital story and analyzed what made it effective. Josh showed other photos as the students thought about what emotions and meanings the photos contained for them. Josh developed a photo scavenger hunt in order for the students to practice photographing themes such as 'hope', 'freedom', and 'change'. Can't wait to see the finished products!
